Licensing

End User License Agreements
There are two basic End User License Agreements that govern the use of our font software. Both of these license agreements are designed to meet most of the general purpose uses of our font software.

If your needs require different terms or you are interested in a license for very large installations and special use situations we can offer you a customized licensing solution that will allow you to use our font software in ways not permitted in our basic license agreements. Ask Us About Custom Licensing »

Terminal Design EULA
Click here to view our Terminal Design End User License Agreement (EULA) that covers all of our fonts EXCEPT ClearviewHwy.

The Terminal Design license allows the font software to be installed on a Wide Area Network (WAN)

This font license also allow limited embedding use for display of internet pages but requires that designers observe some basic precautions when doing so:

  • Text in Flash files must be static (not dynamic), the files must embed only a subset of the character set, and the “Protect from Import” option must be enabled when the files are generated.
  • When using sIFR (Scalable Inman Flash Replacement) configure sIFR’s customize_me.as file in two ways to prevent unauthorized users from accessing the system: first, set the allowedDomains array to include only the domain of your website (instead of “*”), and then set allowlocal to “false” before publishing the .swf to the web.
  • Under no circumstances can any HTML/browser embedding technologies be used under our license agreements. Including but not limited to @font-face or hosting the font software anywhere on a web server where it can be linked to and downloaded.
